Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Website Developer specializing in WordPress and Shopify to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of professional experience and a strong understanding of web development best practices. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and functional, contributing to our business goals and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Website Development & Maintenance:

• Design, develop, and customize responsive websites using WordPress (WooCommerce) and Shopify.
• Build custom themes and plugins for WordPress.
• Develop and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO performance.

Technical Problem-Solving:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including bugs, layout inconsistencies, and plugin conflicts.
• Implement enhancements and upgrades based on emerging trends and client requirements.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to align websites with ding and marketing goals.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.

Integration & Customization:

• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and tools into WordPress and Shopify websites.
• Customize e-commerce functionalities, including product catalogs, shopping carts, and checkout processes.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough testing to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Maintain website security by implementing best practices and regular updates.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Skills:

Experience:

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress and Shopify development.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in WordPress (theme and plugin development) and Shopify (Liquid templates, app integrations).
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with PHP and MySQL for backend development.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of SEO principles and website optimization techniques.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with additional e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, OpenCart).
• Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON.

What We Offer

• Performance-Based Commission: 50-100% of monthly salary.
• Quarterly Bonuses: Equivalent to 50% of monthly salary (totaling 14 salaries annually).
• Monthly Fuel Allowance: PKR 10,000.
