Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Video Editor/Animator with a passion for storytelling through visuals. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of expertise in advanced video editing, motion graphics, and 2D/3D animation. You will play a key role in creating compelling visual content that engages audiences and aligns with our brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for platforms like social media, websites, and presentations.
- Enhance video quality with color correction, audio balancing, and motion effects.
- Incorporate creative transitions, effects, and sound to elevate storytelling.
Animation Creation:
- Design and animate 2D/3D motion graphics for intros, explainer videos, and promotional content.
- Develop engaging animations to communicate complex ideas effectively, aligned with the brand's style.
- Create storyboards and visual concepts to plan animation sequences.
Creative Input:
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop innovative video and animation ideas.
- Interpret briefs and ensure visual content aligns with project goals and audience needs.
- Stay updated on trends and techniques in video editing and animation to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple video and animation projects, ensuring timely delivery.
- Work cross-functionally with teams to meet project objectives and maintain brand standards.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to best practices for file management.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all deliverables are visually compelling, error-free, and meet technical specifications.
- Conduct quality checks for compatibility across various platforms and devices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
- Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in video editing and animation.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Expertise in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Blender, or Cinema 4D.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual aesthetics.
- Experience in audio editing and syncing.
Portfolio:
- A portfolio showcasing diverse video editing and animation projects, highlighting creativity and technical skills.
Soft Skills:
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with 3D animation and modeling.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Knowledge of social media video formats and platform-specific requirements.
What We Offer:
- Performance-based commission: 50-100% of monthly salary.
- Quarterly bonuses: Equivalent to 50% of monthly salary (totaling 14 salaries annually).
- Monthly fuel allowance: PKR 10,000.
