Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and edit compelling video content with strong storytelling; clear beginnings, engaging middles, and impactful endings.
- Create platform-specific video content tailored for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Edit raw footage into polished final cuts, incorporating music, graphics, animations, and transitions to enhance viewer engagement.
- Use animation and motion graphics strategically, only where relevant, to elevate storytelling and brand tone.
- Collaborate with the creative and content teams to understand briefs, brand guidelines, and campaign goals.
- Maintain visual consistency, style, and tone across all video content.
- Apply expert-level understanding of framing, pacing, rhythm, and sound design to make emotionally resonant videos.
- Stay up to date with video trends, formats, and technical standards across social media and digital channels.
- Organize and archive project files for easy access and collaboration.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong showreel showcasing storytelling, animations, and platform-optimized content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other industry-standard video and animation tools (e.g., Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and emotion-driven edits.
- Ability to adapt video formats and edit styles based on platform requirements (e.g., short-form reels, carousel-style, vertical vs. horizontal).
- Skilled in 2D animation and motion graphics, knows how and when to use them effectively.
- Strong eye for composition, color grading, sound sync, and overall aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working on B2B or brand storytelling content.
- Understanding of digital marketing, social trends, and audience engagement.
- Basic knowledge of audio mixing and sound design.
