Job Description: Senior Shopify Developer (Figma to Code & Custom Apps)

Role: Shopify Theme & App Developer

Location: Karachi Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are looking for a high-level technical developer to bring our designs to life.

Your primary responsibility is two-fold:

1) Translating our provided Figma designs into pixel-perfect, functioning Shopify stores, and

2) Engineering custom private apps/plugins to extend platform functionality.

You will not be required to design the UI; we will provide the Figma files. Your job is to execute that vision with code-perfect precision and build the backend logic to support it.

Key Responsibilities

1.⁠ ⁠Figma to Shopify Conversion (Core Responsibility)

Pixel-Perfect Implementation: Take high-fidelity designs from Figma/Adobe XD and convert them into fully responsive, functional Shopify themes.

Theme Architecture: Develop custom themes from scratch or heavily modify Shopify OS 2.0 themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, ensuring the live site matches the design file exactly.

Responsive Execution: Ensure the design translates flawlessly across all screen sizes (mobile, tablet, desktop) without losing the integrity of the original layout.

2.⁠ ⁠Custom App & Plugin Development (Core Responsibility)

Custom Logic: Develop custom private apps or plugins to solve specific business needs that standard themes cannot handle (e.g., custom checkout flows, unique product bundlers, inventory logic).

API Integrations: Use Shopify’s Admin API and Storefront API to build robust backend solutions. Extension: Maintain and update these custom tools to ensure they remain compatible with Shopify updates.

3.⁠ ⁠Performance & Optimization Speed Optimization:

Ensure the code is bloat-free. The final store must achieve high scores on Google PageSpeed Insights/Core Web Vitals.

Clean Coding: Write modular, maintainable, and version-controlled code (Git).

QA & Debugging: Rigorously test the frontend against the Figma source to ensure no visual details were missed.

Skills & Qualifications

Front-End Proficiency:

Expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/Tailwind), and JavaScript (Vanilla/ES6+).

Deep experience working with Figma (inspecting elements, exporting assets, measuring spacing) to implement designs.

Back-End Proficiency:

Experience building Custom Shopify Apps (using Node.js, React, Remix, or similar stacks).

Strong knowledge of Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL).

Attention to Detail: A "pixel-perfect" mindset is mandatory. The live store must mirror the design.

Timing: 12pm-8:30pm

Salary: 60K-90K
