Senior eCommerce Accountant (QuickBooks Online Expert)

Location: On-Site (Islamabad, Phase 2)

Working Hours : 7 PM to 3 AM

Salary: PKR 200,000 – 300,000

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior eCommerce Accountant with advanced expertise in QuickBooks Online to lead our accounting operations. This role requires a professional with a strong background in the eCommerce industry to oversee accounts, payroll, and multi-channel platforms like Amazon and eBay. The candidate will ensure seamless financial processes, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Leadership

• Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Generate and maintain accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
• Lead the quarterly/year-end closing, tax filings, and audit preparation.

eCommerce Accounting

• Integrate QuickBooks Online with platforms like Amazon and eBay for efficient data flow.
• Handle eCommerce-specific tasks: inventory management, returns, product costing, and multi-channel sales reconciliation.

Compliance & Optimization

• Ensure adherence to U.S. tax laws, sales tax, and other financial regulations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend operational improvements.
• Continuously optimize financial workflows and systems.

Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial data with operational goals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in accounting, with a focus on the eCommerce industry.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (system setup, integration, and daily operations).
• Hands-on experience managing multi-channel eCommerce platforms like Amazon and eBay.

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in financial analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with APIs for QuickBooks-eCommerce integration.

Soft Skills:

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in procurement processes.
• Knowledge of financial management best practices.
• Immediate joiners preferred (1 week maximum). Exceptional candidates with a 1-month notice will also be considered.
