Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber & Network Security and IT Governance Specialist to lead security initiatives, manage enterprise risks, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires a strong mix of hands-on technical expertise and strategic governance leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Cyber & Network Security Leadership

• Design, implement, and optimize network and cyber security architectures.
• Lead security incident response and threat investigation activities.
• Oversee vulnerability management, penetration testing, and remediation.
• Ensure secure design and implementation of on-prem and cloud environments.

IT Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Define and maintain IT security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Lead IT risk assessments and integrate security into enterprise risk management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.).
• Manage internal and external audits and remediation programs.

Advisory & Leadership

• Act as a trusted advisor to management and business stakeholders.
• Review third-party/vendor security and risk assessments.
• Mentor junior security and GRC team members.
• Contribute to security strategy, roadmaps, and investment planning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cyber security, network security, or IT governance roles.
• Strong expertise in security tools (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security).
• Proven experience implementing and managing security frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP, CISM, or CISA
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
• CEH, CCSP, or equivalent
