Key Responsibilities:

Risk Framework & System Development

Collaborate with group risk, product, sales, operations, and other key stakeholders to design and implement a comprehensive risk management framework for the offline BNPL product in Pakistan.

Localize group-level risk policies, models, and tools to suit the Pakistan market context, regulatory environment, and customer behavior.

Lead the design and implementation of risk decision systems, scorecards, and verification tools to enable scalable credit and fraud risk control.

Risk Operations & Team Management

Recruit, develop, and lead a local risk operations team, including functions such as customer verification, fraud prevention, and credit decisioning.

Oversee day-to-day risk operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and regularly review risk policies, procedures, and controls to ensure effectiveness and responsiveness to evolving risks.

Set up and manage early warning systems and fraud monitoring mechanisms.

Market Research & Continuous Improvement

Conduct regular case studies, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to stay ahead of emerging risks and industry trends.

Propose and drive continuous improvement initiatives in credit and fraud risk control.

Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related fields.

5+ years of experience in credit risk, consumer lending, fintech, or NBFCs, ideally in a leadership or managerial role.

Experience with BNPL or other unsecured consumer lending products is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of Pakistan’s financial regulations, customer behavior, and fraud landscape.

Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and risk governance processes.
