We’re hiring a PHP WordPress Developer who’s not just familiar with WordPress, but masters its backend architecture. Someone who can build complex plugins, work with APIs, optimize performance, and handle custom logic like a pro.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, extend, and maintain custom WordPress plugins.
• Build custom post types, taxonomies, meta fields, and user roles.
• Create, manage, and integrate complex REST APIs and third-party services.
• Write efficient SQL queries and work on MySQL database optimization.
• Customize and extend WooCommerce functionality when required.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs and backend logic.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure security, scalability, and best practices in coding and architecture.

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of solid experience in backend WordPress development.
• Experience in writing custom plugins from scratch
• Expert-level proficiency in WordPress core functions/hooks.
• Hands-on experience with custom plugin development (not just theme customization).
• Strong understanding of WP_Query, WP REST API, AJAX, and nonce security.
• Good command of MySQL, custom queries, and database optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and deployment processes.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, and documented code.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with WooCommerce custom development.
• Familiarity with Composer, WP CLI, and Docker/local dev environments.
• Knowledge of server-side optimizations, caching (Redis, Memcached), and CDN setups.
• Understanding of Headless WordPress or decoupled architecture is a plus.

Experience: 03-04 years.
