Job Description:

Upfront Media is looking for an experienced Mid-Level to Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, and be highly proficient in WordPress page builders like Elementor and WPBakery. You must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a high-paced, high-pressure environment while delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites with optimized performance.
• Work extensively with PHP, HTML, CSS, and WordPress builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.).
• Optimize websites for speed, security, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues under tight deadlines.
• Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins as needed.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design implementation.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers.
• Communicate with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
• Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends, security updates, and industry best practices.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience Level: 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS.
• Familiarity with: WordPress builders (Elementor, WPBakery).
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization abilities.
• Work Environment: Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multiple projects efficiently.
• Bonus Points for: Experience with JavaScript, GHL, WooCommerce, and custom theme/plugin development.
