Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior Cyber & Network Security and IT Governance Analyst to support the implementation and monitoring of security controls and governance processes. This role is ideal for early-career professionals eager to grow their technical and GRC skills under the guidance of senior security staff.

Key Responsibilities

Cyber & Network Security Support

• Assist in monitoring security alerts from SIEM and security tools.
• Support firewall, endpoint, and network security configurations.
• Participate in vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking.
• Help document incident response activities and lessons learned.

IT Governance & Compliance

• Support maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Assist with IT risk assessments and control testing.
• Help prepare evidence for internal and external audits.
• Maintain security documentation, registers, and reports.

Learning & Collaboration

• Participate in security awareness initiatives and training sessions.
• Work with IT teams to support secure system configurations.
• Stay current with emerging cyber threats and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–2 years of experience in IT, security, or governance-related roles.
• Familiarity with at least one security framework (ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT is a plus).

Preferred Certifications (or in progress)

• CompTIA Security+
• CEH (Junior level)
• ISO 27001 Foundation
