Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on GCP Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically around landing zone architecture, cloud best practices, and on-premise to GCP migrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end architecture planning, validation of connectivity with Google, and ensuring enterprise-grade solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement GCP landing zones based on industry and Google best practices.
- Lead and manage on-premise to GCP migration projects, including strategy, planning, and execution.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for communication and verification with Google Cloud teams.
- Develop comprehensive architecture blueprints, not just isolated components or modules.
- Collaborate with security, networking, and DevOps teams to build secure, scalable, and efficient GCP environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record of projects executed exclusively on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) — not just multi-cloud experience.
- Strong understanding of GCP Landing Zone, resource hierarchy, IAM policies, VPC design, and networking.
- Experience in designing and deploying hybrid cloud environments and executing large-scale cloud migrations.
- Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, GKE, and Cloud Identity.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager, etc.).
- Pure GCP experience: While Azure and AWS knowledge is helpful, we require a solid track record of projects demonstrating significant time and expertise with Google Cloud Platform.
- Full architecture experience: We need someone who can provide comprehensive architectural solutions, not just fragmented or partial contributions.
