About the Role:

We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 8 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with strong analytical skills and expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Accounting & Compliance:

Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivables, and payroll.

Ensure accurate financial data entry in computerized accounting software and Excel.

Assist in preparing financial statements with necessary disclosures.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Risk Management & Internal Controls:

Identify and assess financial risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.

Develop and enforce internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Team Leadership & Development:

Supervise and mentor junior finance staff.

Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.

Additional Responsibilities:

Develop financial models to support business decisions.

Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives and system implementations.

Communicate financial insights to management, investors, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: MBA/M.Com/MS in Finance or Accounting, ACCA qualified or higher certification/CA candidates preferred.

Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting sector.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Excel (formulas, financial modeling, data analysis).

Experience working with computerized accounting software.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.
