Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) administration as the primary responsibility. The ideal candidate will be experienced in designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing Kubernetes clusters on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This is a remote offshore role with the potential for a long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer OKE clusters on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and scaling.
- Monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilization; proactively resolve issues.
- Develop automation scripts for provisioning, scaling, and managing Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Ensure cluster security, compliance, and role-based access control (RBAC) implementation.
- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to support containerized workloads.
- Optimize cluster costs, performance, and reliability.
- Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and training for team members on OKE best practices.
Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with OKE (Oracle Kubernetes Engine) on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Proficiency in Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and RBAC policies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in remote environments.
