iTANZ Group is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Pakistan.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to streamline our software development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate has expertise in GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps and will work closely with our development and operations teams to implement automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of DevOps practices and the ability to drive continuous improvements in software delivery, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Management: 

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps to automate code build, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain and optimize existing CI/CD pipelines to enhance speed, efficiency, and reliability.

Version Control and Collaboration: 

• Manage and administer GitHub repositories, ensuring best practices for branching, tagging, and versioning are followed.
• Enable seamless collaboration within teams by setting up workflows, pull requests, and code review processes.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): 

• Develop and maintain IaC scripts using Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, or similar tools to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure configurations to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available environments.

Configuration Management: 

• Implement configuration management processes to maintain consistency across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with software and infrastructure teams to ensure configurations align with performance, security, and compliance requirements.

Monitoring and Incident Management: 

• Set up monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Lead incident response efforts to minimize downtime and performance issues.

Collaboration and Documentation: 

• Work closely with software engineering, QA, and infrastructure teams to integrate DevOps practices into development workflows.
• Document processes, configurations, and workflows to ensure operational transparency and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a similar role, with hands-on experience in GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
