Job Title: CMS Developer
Job Type: (remote) flexible hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Development: Design, develop, and manage WordPress, Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce websites from scratch, or enhance existing ones.
- Theme Customization: Customize themes based on client branding and functional needs using WordPress coding standards.
- PSD/Figma to WordPress: Convert designs (PSD/XD) to custom WordPress themes and manage slicing work.
- Hooks & Filters: Utilize WordPress hooks and filters for custom functionality and theme/plugin modifications.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize website speed and performance, with in-depth knowledge of Google Page Speed Insights and Lighthouse.
- Plugin Customization: Work with Gravity Forms, ACF, WooCommerce, and other popular plugins.
- Responsive Design: Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible.
- API Integrations: Integrate third-party APIs to extend website functionality.
- Security: Implement security best practices to safeguard WordPress sites.
- Collaboration: Work with designers, project managers, and developers to deliver high-quality projects on time.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of page builders (Elementor, Divi, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Cpanel.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and page speed optimization (not just plugins).
