Lead Blockchain Developer Location: On-site – Karachi

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the architecture, design, and development of secure blockchain-based systems and smart contracts.

Manage and mentor a team of blockchain developers; assign tasks, review code, and ensure best practices.

Act as a subject matter expert on blockchain technologies, including Ethereum, Hyperledger, or other platforms.

Oversee full SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) from design through deployment and maintenance.

Conduct smart contract audits, optimize gas usage, and handle security vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and cross-functional teams to align blockchain solutions with business goals.

Stay current with emerging trends, protocols, and tools in the blockchain space.

Provide documentation, architectural diagrams, and technical leadership on blockchain projects.

Lead sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups as part of Agile development.

5–7 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years in blockchain-specific development.

Strong command of Solidity, Rust, Go, or similar blockchain-oriented languages.

Proficient in Ethereum development tools: Truffle, Hardhat, Ganache, Remix, web3.js, or ethers.js.

Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptographic principles, consensus algorithms, and smart contract security.

Experience with token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155) and DeFi/NFT protocols.

Proven experience leading technical teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in blockchain deployment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Layer 2 scaling solutions (e.g., Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism).

Hands-on experience with permissioned blockchains like Hyperledger Fabric or Corda.

Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.

Knowledge of Web3 security audits and tools (e.g., MythX, Slither, OpenZeppelin).

Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) related to hosting blockchain infrastructure.
